18-month cycle of North and South Node changing signs. The Latin word for node is knot. It is where the moon and the nodes intersect twice a month. The moon crosses paths with the Earth’s orbit at precise locations known at the nodes. The Spirit or North node is a growth cycle, and the South node is a letting go of something which isn’t working any more.

Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs meaning the two signs hold on to anything that is owned or that they control. Taurus is what indigested and Scorpio is what is expended.
