What is Tarot?
What is Tarot? It is a non-verbal, mysterious practice that serves as a reflection of oneself, allowing the unconscious to express itself. The contrast between the unexplained and reality holds deep meanings, and we rely on our intuition to interpret them.

I once heard someone discuss how baby chicks, as soon as they hatch, instinctively sense danger and hide in the shadow of a hawk, even before they have any training from their mother.
Tarot operates similarly; it helps us uncover the hidden meanings of our unconscious thoughts.
In astrology, each zodiac sign (like Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc.) is divided into three sections, each containing 10 degrees. These sections are called decans (from the Greek word for “ten”).
The 4 of Swords decan runs from October 13th to October 22nd. I use the decan for timing: when something will happen and what to look for.
The 4 of Swords is an air element; it tells the story of the Justice card. T. Susie Chang stated, “The fours offer a moment of temporary stability where we gather our resources for the next critical stage of development.”
I usually see the 4 of Swords as a time when we gather our strength for the journey.

The New Moon in Libra on October 10th.
The Libra New Moon marks a seed moment, the beginning of a new cycle. We get 12 New Moons and Full Moons a year, and when one falls in your chart angles, it feels stronger and matters more. Most years have 12 new moons and 12 full moons; if we get 13 New Moons or 13 full moons, the last one is sometimes called a Blue Moon. It doesn’t always happen.
Mars is opposite Pluto, and 4 degrees is the hot point in Aquarius and Leo, Scorpio, and Taurus. Life is moving fast, and a big change is coming. It is an explosive time right now, and it reflects this month’s astrology.
Pluto in Aquarius will station direct on October 16th and will therefore feel stronger. The days when a planet is stationary (when it turns direct and when it turns retrograde) are often considered the most intense or significant in astrology.
Venus is retrograde too, reflecting women’s issues. Where do we stand in relationships? Venus retrograde can signify a big change in the elections like it did in November 2018,+ but with Mercury retrograde misinformation.
In 2018, the Democratic Party gained control of the House, flipping a significant number of seats from the Republicans. This ended the Republican majority in the House that had existed since 2011.
All of these aspects will be present during the U.S. election, and Mercury will be retrograde too! I think it is safe to say the election will not go smoothly.
Sun is opposite Saturn today, we should be able to see Saturn tonight.
Venus is currently in Scorpio, where the planet is “exiled,” or cast out, meaning we may notice what takes us out of our pleasure, joy, and our bodies.
Crimes against women have been committed, and it’s time to change the way we see women. Venus retrograde is the opportunity for change.
Venus retrograde is powerful. Chani stated, “ It quite literally denotes a time when an exiled, degraded, or humiliated woman — or women in general — gains public awareness.”
In 2018, Venus was retrograde in Scorpio.
In 2018, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding her assault by Brett Kavanaugh.
2010 Venus retrograde in LIbra/Scorpio, resumes Bank of America foreclosures in 23 states following a temporary halt in foreclosures due to the 2010. This is an example of Venus retrograde regarding money issues.
Venus retrograde in Scorpio days before the actual retrograde period, Beltway sniper attacks: Throughout October 2–24, a series of coordinated sniper shootings terrorized the Washington, D.C. area, resulting in 10 deaths before John Allen Muhammad and John Lee Malvo were arrested on October 24. [1, 2, 3]
At the same time as Venus retrograde, we have a T-square involving the Scorpio planets: Venus and Mercury square the Moon and Mars. And the opposition to Pluto. They are demanding a change! Becareful with our words; they can be hurtful.
